While the river overflowed its banks beyond, this little dude found his zen in the high ground and let me take a few pictures of him.

Had Musikfest not been a (mostly) virtual event this year it would have suffered another flooding event (I think this would have been the 4th since I moved to PA). The rains from Hurricane Isaias caused major flooding in many areas. While the damage to the Bethlehem Historic district along the Monocacy Creek was bad, it could have been much worse, as it was in surrounding towns.

I would like to find my own zen this week, and maybe be ready with an actual blog post for next week. Be the grasshopper, I suppose. We’ll see.
