I never caught the hiking bug from my father, but occasionally I do get into the woods on an easy trail. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is just my speed, and I’m hoping to return this summer (as long as the county stays in the green) to explore the area a little more (and to write an in-depth post), and check out the Visitor Center (which is currently closed).
