The day has finally come to say goodbye to my little 10.1” netbook, which was the first laptop that I bought myself. I think it was an Amazon holiday deal, back in 2009. It ran Windows XP and was a 4G marvel, as far as I was concerned. I took that thing everywhere. That little netbook had more ports than even the 2016 11.6” Asus I eventually purchased to replace it with as a travel companion.

I last used it in 2015. It has been tucked away on my bookshelf ever since. Over the weekend I plugged it in, checked that I had deleted everything (I had way back when) and today I shall hand it over to my taller half so he can properly dispose of it since it cannot be upgraded and  can no longer connect to wi-fi. 

Farewell, Little Wind. You served me well.
