Every year when the trees start blooming at the library I walk down to take a ton of pictures. The funny thing about this year is that I was leaning back to get the shot looking up at the sky through the pretty pink magnolia flowers I heard a voice say, “Were you here last year about this time?” I took the picture and looked over to see a woman a few feet away with a big camera smiling at me. “Was I leaning back and taking pictures of the sky through the trees?” I asked. She laughed and admitted that was how she recognized me. I felt terrible that I did not recognize her, but we chatted a bit and then the cherry trees drew me away.
