Have you ever been out for a walk or a drive and you see something like an old foundation, stairs that seemingly go nowhere, or a faded, painted company logo on a building that has been divided into apartments and wonder what was there, who owned and/or lived there, and what happened to it? 

I do.

An idea that I had a while back resurfaced after I took this picture: why not do a little digging and see if I can find the answers to those questions about the locations origins? It would actually fit, a little, into my research for my thesis/Capstone Project which looks at Place, History, and Fandom. I was thinking that with the research could be a little storytelling, maybe short stories based on what I find?

It would definitely mean that I can’t wait until Thursday night to write up a post, but that’s a good thing. Deadlines are my friends, despite the stress. I’ll think it through and see where it takes me. Stay tuned!
