As they say, winter is coming…and I am just not ready for it! These pictures are from last winter, and they make me cold just looking at them! Snow days used to be fun, now they are about shoveling and doing housework…all of the adult stuff that I never gave a thought about as a kid.

On the other hand, winter also means endless hot cocoa, Scrooged, and Christkindlmarkt, where I end up spending more than I anticipated on gifts handmade by incredibly talented people and have no regrets.

I’m definitely not looking forward to snowy work commutes, but I will say the weather does bring about some great photo ops that I rarely pass up. Tromping through the snow, frozen fingers, almost falling on the ice trying to get just the right angle – totally worth it when I can use the pictures to design my own Christmas cards!
